What to Expect

A Welcoming Family

Our Sunday service begins at 9:00 AM at 1501 Woodbury Rd., Orlando, FL 32828.

We have nursery available for ages birth through 3.

Come early to be greeted by a team member and learn more about Woodbury. You can also stick around afterwards to chat and meet some people.

We have a liturgical flavor to what we do. To worship liturgically means that we’re not just putting on a show for God, or looking for a quick inspirational boost.

Instead, we are reenacting the reality of the gospel in our lives through patterns of responsive prayers centered around God’s Word. We honor the liturgical traditional while keeping things informal, like a big family gathering.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
– John 4:24

It's All About What God Does

GOD GATHERS HIS PEOPLE:

We have a word of welcome, a call to worship from the Psalms, and a praise song.

GOD CONVICTS HIS PEOPLE:

We pray a prayer of confession and enter into a time of silence.

GOD REDEEMS HIS PEOPLE:

We receive an assurance of forgiveness and respond with singing.

GOD EMPOWERS HIS PEOPLE:

We hear God’s word in a public reading of Scripture, and hear God’s word preached in a sermon, and sing a praise song or hymn in response.

GOD SENDS HIS PEOPLE:

Every first Sunday of the month, we affirm what we believe by reciting the Apostle’s Creed, then partake in Holy Communion. Every week we are sent out with a benediction, a word of blessing.
